Melissa Lewis
Music Director
Melissa Lewis, raised in Roanoke, Virginia, has been singing for as long as she can remember. After studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, she moved to Nashville and began writing her own material. In 2003, she released her debut CD, “Simple Life,” a collection of songs about love and life.
In 2004, Melissa moved to Los Angeles to further her music career. Her songs have been featured on television, compilation albums, an independent film, and various internet radio stations. Her second CD, “Why Can’t I,” released in 2008, won Best Contemporary Album at the 2009 JPFolks Music Awards and received the “Seal of Excellence” from the Positive Music Association.
In 2013, Melissa released her third CD, “A Little Love,” and became a first-time mother to twin girls. Balancing motherhood and music, she remains passionate about performing and sharing her music. Melissa believes that music connects thoughts, feelings, emotions, and most importantly, people, and is grateful for how it enriches her life. Her life and music resonate with themes of hope, love, and resilience.
“Dez” Glover

Desiree “The Pharoah” Glover, a Torrance, California native, is an accomplished instrumentalist, producer, composer, arranger, and recording engineer. She began playing music in the 5th grade and has since mastered approximately 49 instruments. Throughout her high school years, she excelled in multiple roles, including jazz band set drummer, 1st chair trumpet player, and lead alto saxophonist, earning numerous awards and accolades.
Desiree graduated from California State Polytechnic University of Pomona with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Performance in 1992. She has toured internationally and performed with renowned artists such as Sarah Vaughn and Ornette Coleman, and has played for notable figures including Bill Cosby and George W. Bush.
With diverse roles in the music industry, including studio musician, engineer, and music director, Desiree continues to pursue her passion for music through performing, teaching, and producing high-quality music. Keep an eye out for her upcoming Jazz, R&B, and Gospel CDs.
