We are so excited to announce that October 4th launches our 2026 Adventures in Faith Community book study where we will be studying “Being the Beloved Community” by Dr. Jim Lockard. This book study is being offered at no charge to our community and we have five different small study groups going on each week. Would you rather join a day-time class we have two available , evening classes…yes….zoom classes yes….in person classes…yes…we have it all! Please see Austin at the back of the room after service and he will help you sign up for the day and time that works for you. This book is rooted in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of the Beloved Community, For Dr. King, the Beloved Community wasn’t simply about people being nice to one another. It was a vision of a community transformed by love, justice, nonviolence, shared responsibility, and the recognition of our interconnectedness. Our book study asks us to look within ourselves and discover how we can create the consciousness capable of birthing such a community. Please register as study groups do fill up. We have books available for a donation of $12.
