I discovered Science of Mind and the Huntington Beach Center for Spiritual Living in July 1985, and I have been an active participant ever since. It was exactly what I had been searching for.

My educational background includes a BA in Education and an MA in Psychology. In the secular world, I spent 18 years teaching elementary school before transitioning into financial services. I established an independent financial planning business, became a Certified Financial Planner, and successfully ran the business for 27 years before selling it.

In 2012, I became a Licensed Practitioner at Huntington Beach Center for Spiritual Living and later joined the Seal Beach Center for Spiritual Living in 2015. In 2018, I stepped into leadership as Chair of the Leadership Council, and as part of our collaboration efforts, I co-chaired the merger of the Namaste and Seal Beach Centers for Spiritual Living. In 2024, I took on the role of Treasurer at the Pacific Coast Center for Spiritual Living.

One of my proudest contributions has been forming a strong Financial Subcommittee, which includes the current Treasurer, Treasurer-in-Training, Administrator, Leadership Chair, past Treasurer, and a PCCSL member. This structure ensures financial sustainability and continuity. This ongoing effort is part of our commitment to building a thriving and sustainable spiritual community.
