SUMMARY:The Sound of Self: June 30\, 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Sunday 11am gathering will be an experiential time together the 5th Sunday of month.  On June 30 we have the pleasure of welcoming Rosamaria Segura. Rosamarie is a teacher at LAInsight (along with Cacye Howe). \n\n\n\nInsightLA is the first center to combine training in Insight (Vipassana) Meditation and in non-sectarian mindfulness and compassion practices\, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC). \n\n\n\nRosamaria will lead us in a combination of easy-to-follow guided meditation instructions and gentle therapeutic and restorative sounds with multiple crystal and Himalayan singing bowls\, creating a space to calm the nervous system and help connect to the unconscious mind. \n\n\n\nA sound bath is an experience of musical instruments to relax the body and calm the mind. The sounds and vibrations of quartz and Tibetian bowls can align the heart with the body and mind.
