DESCRIPTION:“Spiritual Principles and Practices” invites us back to the foundations of metaphysical teaching\, where timeless truths guide modern lives. In this workshop\, we will explore the core principles that shape our understanding of consciousness\, causation\, and the creative power of thought. Together\, we will engage in practical spiritual tools—such as meditation\, affirmation\, visioning\, and mindful pattern-shifting—which are transformative practices. Participants will discover how these practices cultivate clarity\, resilience\, and a deeper sense of inner alignment. Ultimately\, this workshop offers a grounded pathway for spiritual growth and evolution\, empowering each of us to live with greater intention and grace. \n\n\n\nThe class begins January 13 @ 6:30 p.m. and is 5 weeks. DESCRIPTION:Pricing Structure: \n\n\n\n\n$40 Early Bird (through 1/21)\n\n\n\n$45 General Admission\n\n\n\n$50 At the Door\n\n\n\n\nDescription of the Event:This New Year intuitive painting and somatic release experience invites participants to slow down\, reflect\, and intentionally step into the year ahead. We will begin with guided reflection on 2025—honoring what has shaped us\, acknowledging what is ready to be released\, and create a brief visual timeline commemorate and bring to closure to the prior year. \n\n\n\nThrough gentle somatic practices such as breath\, guided awareness\, and grounding\, participants will be supported in releasing stored emotional and energetic residue from the past year and clarifying what we want to carry forward. From this embodied space\, we will create two intuitive paintings of hands: \n\n\n\n\nOne hand representing what we are letting go of\n\n\n\nOne hand representing what we are holding onto and nurturing\n\n\n\n\nNo prior painting experience is needed. This is not about artistic perfection\, but about expression and presence\, through the body and creative process. So often in our healing\, as mirrored in our art\, we focus on the end product but forget that the true beauty is in the process\, in the journey it took to get there. \n\n\n\nWhy should someone attend? \n\n\n\n\nTo consciously close out the past year and step into the new one with clarity\n\n\n\nTo release emotional or energetic weight held in the body\n\n\n\nTo connect with intuition through art\n\n\n\nTo create tangible visual reminders of personal intentions\n\n\n\nTo experience community\, reflection\, and creative ritual in a supportive space\n\n\n\n\nWhat will they receive? \n\n\n\n\nA guided somatic release and reflection practice\n\n\n\nIntuitive painting facilitation\, and artistic guidance if desired\n\n\n\nTwo completed paintings symbolizing release and intention (all materials provided)\n\n\n\nA grounding closing ritual to integrate the experience\n\n\n\nJournaling and reflection prompts to take with you and continue your practice at home\n\n\n\n\nBio:Jenn LaMar is an intuitive artist and somatic facilitator who creates experiences at the intersection of embodiment\, creativity\, and emotional release. She has been a high school art teacher for 16 years\, working specifically with at-risk youth in the continuation school setting. In 2022\, she earned a Masters Degree in Social Emotional Learning (SEL)\, utilizing mindfulness art methods in her classroom to break barriers\, and now her research is being considered for publishing. \n\n\n\nFor the past 3 years\, she has been leading intuitive art workshops and seminars at multiple mental health centers for youth and adults\, training other art teachers how to incorporate trauma informed instruction for their subject\, and has begun building a healing practice of her own: jenn.tuitive. Her work centers on helping people heal and reconnect with their inner wisdom through somatics\, breathwork\, various forms of art\, intentional ritual\, psychic intuition\, energetic and sound healing\, and more.
