We will begin with guided reflection on 2025—honoring what has shaped us\, acknowledging what is ready to be released\, and create a brief visual timeline commemorate and bring to closure to the prior year. \n\n\n\nThrough gentle somatic practices such as breath\, guided awareness\, and grounding\, participants will be supported in releasing stored emotional and energetic residue from the past year and clarifying what we want to carry forward. From this embodied space\, we will create two intuitive paintings of hands: \n\n\n\n\nOne hand representing what we are letting go of\n\n\n\nOne hand representing what we are holding onto and nurturing\n\n\n\n\nNo prior painting experience is needed. We will hold a conversation in poetry\, sharing poems from our latest anthology\, Love Is for All of Us\, with a special focus on tenderness and belonging at this fraught moment. The conversation in poetry will be followed by a Q & A\, and we will have books for sale\, which we will be happy to sign for you—all three of us! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDonna Hilbert’s latest book is Enormous Blue Umbrella\, Moon Tide Press\, 2025.
